How many years will it take to finish a Bachelor of Science in Engineering program?

The Bachelor of Science in engineering takes 4 years to finish. The programs are designed for students aspiring to contribute in nation building in the different fields of infrastructures such as buildings, roads, bridges, technology, electricity, industry, and other engineering related fields.

Which engineering program require board examinations to get licenses?

The Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programs require passing the board examinations being given by the Philippine Regulatory Commission before they are issued a professional license to practice their profession

Do Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering programs require a board examination?

Currently, both the Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering programs do not require board examinations. Still, graduate of both of these programs may undergo certification examinations facilitated by their respective national Certification Boards such as Computer Engineering Certification Board and the Industrial Engineering Certification Board of the Philippines.

How are the graduate of the different engineering programs prepared for board or certification examinations

The curriculum of all engineering programs are designed to include review courses aiming to prepare the graduates for the board and/or certification exams.

How many years will it take to finish Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering?

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BS CpE) is a four-year program that embodies the science and technology of design, development, implementation, maintenance and integration of software and hardware components in modern computing systems and computer-controlled equipment.

Is Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering a board course?

Two types of certification is given by the Computer Engineering Certification Board or CpECB to those graduates of the Computer Engineering program. Certified Computer Engineer (CCpE) is given to those CpE graduates with less than 10 years of professional practice while Professional Computer Engineer (PCpE) is the certification that can be given to those with at least 10 years of professional practice. CpECB or is a sec-registered organization whose main purpose is to give certifications to graduates of the Computer Engineering program to the citizens of the Republic of the Philippines.
