The newly certified bookkeepers are Gian Carlo B. Castillo, CB; Angelo Nicos A. Dacpano, CB; Katrina Mae I. Lindo, CTT, CB; and Rinoa Lheiy M. Negado, CB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PICAT Certified Bookkeeper program is designed to help students with accounting earned units and graduates of accountancy master the fundamentals of bookkeeping and enhance their accounting competencies. It aims to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and ethical standards of individuals engaged in bookkeeping services \u2013 ensuring that certificate holders possess professional excellence and reliability in their practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the program, participants undergo comprehensive training covering the essential topics of bookkeeping, including recording transactions, posting in the ledger, preparation of trial balances, recording adjusting entries, preparation of financial statements, and recording closing entries. These components allow participants to gain hands-on mastery of the regular accounting transactions encountered in various business settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earning the Certified Bookkeeper credential is a significant milestone that validates professional competence, promotes confidence, ensures recognition, and affirms ethical integrity in the field of accounting.
