Perez, a 4th-year Bachelor of Science in Criminology student from the University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC), emerged as Champion in the Stock Hi-Cap Division during the Enkantierra Airsoft Practical Shooting Cup held at Enkantierra Nature Park, Sto. Tomas City, Batangas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perez, who also serves as the President of the UBLC Marksmen\u2019s Guild (MG), demonstrated outstanding marksmanship and tactical discipline, securing the top spot among participants from various universities and airsoft teams across Batangas and nearby provinces. His victory underscores UBLC\u2019s growing reputation for nurturing students with exceptional skills not only in academics but also in extracurricular pursuits that emphasize discipline, strategic thinking, and precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Enkantierra Airsoft Practical Shooting Cup gathered skilled competitors from different sectors, highlighting the principles of focus, coordination, and safety in practical shooting sports. Perez\u2019s triumph is a reflection of the rigorous training and teamwork fostered by the UBLC Marksmen\u2019s Guild, an organization dedicated to promoting responsible firearm handling, marksmanship proficiency, and camaraderie among its members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an interview, Perez shared his passion for the sport, tracing it back to his early years. <em>\u201cSince I was a kid, I\u2019ve always loved shooting \u2013 it\u2019s more than just a hobby for me,\u201d<\/em> he said. Competing as the sole representative of UBLC, Perez went up against 30 participants in his division. <em>\u201cI didn\u2019t expect to be the champion,\u201d<\/em> he admitted. <em>\u201cI expected a place because I knew I performed well, but being declared champion was a big surprise.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked about his preparation and motivation, Perez emphasized the importance of commitment. <em>\u201cIf you really like to shoot, you should find a way to be committed and consistent in what you want to do. Passion and discipline go hand in hand in this sport,\u201d<\/em> he advised, encouraging his fellow Criminology students and aspiring marksmen to pursue their interests with focus and dedication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond his local success, Perez also represented the Philippines in the Action Air World Shoot 2025, held in Iloilo City, Philippines, from July 26 to August 4, 2025. The international event brought together participants from 25 countries, where Perez stood out as one of the youngest members of the Philippine delegation and the only student representative from UBLC. Despite not finishing among the top ranks, he regarded the experience as deeply meaningful. <em>\u201cI\u2019m so grateful and happy because it was a world competition with 25 countries,\u201d<\/em> Perez reflected. <em>\u201cI didn\u2019t expect to rank, but I\u2019m proud that I completed all 30 stages of the competition. That alone was already a big achievement for me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perez\u2019s performance both in national and international competitions highlights his unwavering dedication to excellence and the values cultivated by the UBLC community. His success story serves as an inspiration to students, proving that with discipline, consistency, and passion, one can excel in both academics and extracurricular fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Batangas Lipa City commends Mr. Yuri O.
