{"id":6276,"date":"2025-09-13T10:05:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-13T02:05:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web2.ub.edu.ph\/ublc\/?p=6276"},"modified":"2025-09-23T10:13:21","modified_gmt":"2025-09-23T02:13:21","slug":"ublc-ccje-maintains-strong-performance-in-august-2025-criminologists-licensure-examination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web2.ub.edu.ph\/ublc\/ublc-ccje-maintains-strong-performance-in-august-2025-criminologists-licensure-examination\/","title":{"rendered":"UBLC CCJE maintains strong performance in August 2025 Criminologists Licensure Examination"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Lipa City, Batangas \u2013&nbsp;September 13, 2025. <\/strong>The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has officially released the results of the August 2025 Criminologists Licensure Examination, where the University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC) College of Criminal Justice Education posted an impressive 81.82% passing rate for first-time takers, significantly surpassing the 51.45% national passing rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of the 25,410 examinees nationwide, 13,074 successfully passed the exam administered in 29 testing centers across the country. The results were published 26 working days after the last day of the examination. A total of ten UBLC graduates earned their licenses as Registered Criminologists (RCRIM), adding to the university\u2019s track record of academic excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UBLC passers are: Judelca Shahira I. Badadilla, Jello B. Burgos, Jolises L. Butial, Clarissa C. Cuenca, Raven Darrel B. Lozano, Karen V. Olave, Kevin D. Ramirez, Jimboy G. Reyes, Camille G. Roxas, and Aljay Justin V. Tosino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The licensure examination for criminologists in the Philippines is governed by the Philippine Criminology Profession Act of 2018 (Republic Act No. 11131), which repealed Republic Act 6506, the older law that first established the Board of Examiners for Criminologists in 1972. Under RA 11131, the Board is mandated to regulate the practice of criminology, administer the licensure examination, register certified criminologists, supervise criminology education, and ensure continuing professional development among practitioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board of Criminology that supervised the August 2025 examination was chaired by Atty. Ramil G. Gabao, RCrim, MPSA, Ph.D., with Hon. Lani T. Palmones and Hon. Warren M.
