Resurreccion of the University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC) ranked Top 1 among 392 cadets in the Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) MS 31-32, held from July 11 to July 25, 2025, at Camp General Macario Sakay, Los Ba\u00f1os, Laguna. She obtained a general average of 98.45%, besting hundreds of participants in CALABARZON in the highly competitive program organized by the 4th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) is a mandatory training program for selected cadet-officers in the Philippines, designed to prepare future leaders through advanced military lectures, practical exercises, and leadership development. It serves as a prerequisite for commission as an officer in the Philippine Army Reserve Force and equips cadets with skills essential for both military and civilian service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UBLC cadets also joined the ROTC Summer Camp Training (RSCT) MS 31-32 and Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) MS 31-32 and MS 41-42 CY 2025, which are both vital in developing leadership, discipline, tactical knowledge, and service orientation. These programs involve intensive academic sessions, field activities, and community service, shaping cadets into well-rounded individuals ready to respond to national defense and community needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked about her remarkable achievement, C\/2Lt Resurreccion expressed gratitude and humility, saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI feel deeply honored and humbled by this remarkable achievement. Being recognized as Top 1 among 392 cadets is not just a personal victory, but also a reminder of the hard work, sacrifices, and discipline I poured into the training. As a cadet of UBLC, it means carrying the pride of my school and my ROTC unit, showing that excellence is possible when you stay committed to your values. This achievement is not only mine\u2014it belongs to my fellow cadets and officers that guided me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also emphasized that her success is a reflection of UBLC\u2019s commitment to molding cadets into capable and value-driven leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis achievement is not mine alone, but the reflection of the University of Batangas Lipa City and our ROTC Unit\u2019s commitment to molding cadets into disciplined, and capable individuals. My success is proof that with proper guidance and mentorship, ordinary students can achieve extraordinary things. Without their constant guidance, I would not have been able to reach this milestone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ROTC Summer Camp Training (RSCT) and ARAPT are considered transformative experiences for cadets. RSCT, usually designed for third-year cadets, focuses on tactical instruction, land navigation, weapon handling, and community service, while ARAPT builds upon these foundations with specialized training in military leadership, character development, and marksmanship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through these programs, UBLC continues to demonstrate its role in developing disciplined, service-oriented, and patriotic leaders who embody the values of duty, honor, and country.
