The University of Batangas, Lipa City (UBLC) strengthened its commitment to innovation and industry collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with UXPH, held at the UBLC Tiered Hall, Building C on May 13, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event, organized by the Center for Business and Innovation in partnership with the UBLC Brahman Institute of Computer Engineering Students, marked the beginning of a collaborative effort to promote user experience (UX) design education among future engineers. The MOU formalizes a shared vision to integrate user-centered design principles into academic programs, with a focus on real-world applications in technology and engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In line with this initiative, the day also featured a seminar titled \u201cDesigning Intelligence: UX in AI and Machine Learning.\u201d<\/em> Attended by Computer Engineering students from both the Lipa and Batangas City campuses, the seminar explored the intersection of UX design with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Industry professionals and guest speakers shared insights into the evolving role of UX in shaping intelligent systems, highlighting the importance of creating user-focused solutions in an increasingly data-driven world. Their discussions covered topics ranging from usability and ethical design to the integration of AI in everyday digital products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event provided students with a valuable opportunity to engage with experts and gain a deeper understanding of how thoughtful design impacts user experience and system efficiency.
