Thirty-five graduating students from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program under the College of Information Technology, Entertainment and Communication of the University of Batangas Lipa City successfully passed the IT Specialist Examination on August 2, 2025, an internationally recognized certification awarded by Certiport, a Pearson VUE business established in 1997.

Gonzales, Raine Gabriel M. Gonzales, Eugene N. Ibasco, Allana R. Kaibigan, Kynt L. Kalaw, Joshua Ivan G. Latag, Jonas S. Macayer, Zyrene Mae L. Magnaye, Louella Mariz L. Malabanan, Zach S. The IT Specialist certification validates foundational competencies in key information technology areas such as software development, database administration, networking and security, device management, and web development. Designed for individuals who are beginning or pursuing a career in information technology, the certification ensures that candidates possess demonstrable, industry-relevant skills aligned with current workplace demands.
