The University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC) has taken a major step toward globalizing education by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the CPHR International Management Academy on April 25, 2025. This partnership strengthens the College of Education, Arts, and Sciences (CEAS) by aligning its programs with international standards in Human Resources (HR) practice.

Through this collaboration, UBLC students can now pursue the Associate Certified Practitioner in Human Resources (aCPHR) certification, a globally recognized credential that enhances professional credibility and employability in the HR field. CPHR International will provide training, mentorship, and assessments to develop HR competencies that meet international benchmarks.

Beyond student certification, the partnership also offers faculty development and academic enrichment, reinforcing UBLC’s mission to link classroom learning with real-world application. Students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, preparing them to thrive in modern HR roles.

“This collaboration reflects our commitment to nurturing competent, innovative, and socially responsible graduates ready for a global workforce,” said UBLC representatives.

The initiative highlights the university’s dedication to academic excellence, professional integrity, and global readiness. By strengthening academic-industry partnerships, UBLC continues to prepare future HR leaders to contribute meaningfully to organizational success and the advancement of the HR profession in the Philippines.

Through the joint efforts of UBLC and CPHR International, students are empowered to excel not just locally, but globally, setting a benchmark for transformative partnerships that drive education toward real-world impact.
