Lipa City, Batangas — July 31, 2025. Exchange students from the College of Information Technology, Entertainment, and Communication (CITEC) enrolled in the Bachelor of Multimedia Arts program joined the Aboitiz InfraCapital LIMA Tour, an educational company visit aimed at exposing students to industry practices and professional environments relevant to their field of study.
The activity was organized by CITEC in partnership with the External Affairs Office, International Students Services Office, and the Internship Office, reflecting UBLC’s commitment to enriching global learning opportunities through its international mobility initiatives.
The exchange students were accompanied by Mr. Yonten Jamtsho, Assistant Director of the School of Interactive Design and Development, and Mr. Aldwin Sumalabe, Director of the School of Computing specializing in Full Stack Development, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science, both from Gyalpozhing College of Information Technology. Their presence strengthened academic collaboration and highlighted the value of cross-cultural exchange in higher education.
Through the Aboitiz InfraCapital LIMA Tour, participants were able to gain first-hand insights into industry standards, technological applications, and professional practices that bridge classroom learning with real-world experiences. The initiative forms part of the University of Batangas’ ongoing efforts to enhance international partnerships while preparing students for future careers in multimedia, technology, and related industries.
