City jointly organized a collaborative activity titled “Bumoto ng Tama, Bumoto Nang Tama: A Voter Awareness Initiative,” April 28 – 30 at UBLC.
The College of Education, Arts, and Sciences set-up a voter education booth that encouraged students and community members to become informed, responsible, and ethical voters in the upcoming national elections.
The booth served as an engaging educational space where participants learned about the significance of suffrage, the qualities of good governance, and the legal and ethical responsibilities of voters.
Students from both organizing programs facilitated the sessions, integrating their professional perspectives.
The program provided insights on election laws and governance by utilizing informational materials, interactive games, and short discussions. Faculty members supervised the activity to ensure alignment with both academic and civic outcomes.
The voter awareness initiative was an advocacy for civic engagement and social responsibility for the promotion of good governance, transparency, and social justice.
