Pasig City – October 4, 2025. The University of Batangas – Lipa City Campus (UBLC) was recognized by the Astoria Culinary & Hospitality Institute (ACHI) with the prestigious Six-Year Loyalty Award during the recently concluded Recognition of School Partners and the Launching of the Flight Attendant Training Program.
The award highlights UBLC’s sustained collaboration with Astoria Culinary & Hospitality Institute through its College internship partnership with the College of Management and Tourism and its Senior High School Work Immersion program with UBLC SHS. This recognition underscores the university’s commitment to providing students with industry-based learning opportunities and practical exposure in the fields of hospitality, culinary, and tourism management.
Representing UBLC, Mr. Jobert M. Legaspi, MPA, Assistant Internship Officer, formally received the award on behalf of the institution. The honor reflects the university’s dedication to fostering strong academic-industry linkages that enhance students’ professional growth and readiness for future careers.
The event also marked the launch of ACHI’s Flight Attendant Training Program, an initiative aimed at broadening opportunities for students pursuing careers in aviation and service industries.
