The University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC) successfully conducted the UBian Research Proposal Colloquium: Institutional Research Presentation for Academic Year 2025–2026 on August 29, 2025, at the Tiered Hall, 4th Floor, Building C. The event gathered members of the faculty and employees who presented innovative proposals addressing various academic, social, and institutional gaps.

Organized by the UBLC Research and Publication Office, the colloquium served as a platform to strengthen the university’s research culture and promote collaboration across disciplines. In the area of education, proposals focused on inclusive learning through Filipino Sign Language, revisiting the General Education Curriculum, and strengthening reading programs through enhanced online platforms. Community development initiatives such as organizing women toward social enterprise and collaborative tree planting to advance climate action were also highlighted.

Architecture-centered studies tackled challenges such as late plate submissions, apprenticeship experiences, and professional readiness. Other significant research addressed faculty development needs, the effectiveness of the university’s sports program, and the role of education in breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty.

The colloquium concluded with the awarding of certificates and closing remarks from Mrs. Marilou Cadorna, HRD Officer, who emphasized the value of research in driving institutional growth.
