The University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC), through the College of Education, Arts and Sciences (CEAS), recorded another academic milestone as two Bachelor of Science in Legal Management students successfully passed the Certified Paralegal (CePL) Program examination for Batch 23, administered by the Certified Paralegals and Legal Researchers Training Center, Inc. (CPLRTC).

Crystall Princess D. Tipan and Andrea C. Manalo earned the Certified Paralegal (CePL) designation after completing and passing the professional assessment conducted on December 4, 2025. Their achievement reflects the university’s commitment to equipping students with industry-recognized competencies aligned with professional and ethical standards in the legal field.

The CePL Program serves as a specialized certification designed to enhance paralegal knowledge, research proficiency, and practical legal skills. The examination assessed the examinees’ understanding of legal procedures, documentation, research methodologies, and professional responsibilities, ensuring readiness for real-world legal support roles.

This accomplishment underscores UBLC’s continuing efforts to strengthen academic–professional linkages and promote lifelong learning opportunities for its students, consistent with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), which emphasizes inclusive, equitable, and quality education and the development of relevant skills for employment.

Through initiatives such as the CePL Program, the University of Batangas Lipa City reinforces its role in producing competent, globally responsive graduates who are prepared to contribute meaningfully to the legal profession and the broader community.
