The University of Batangas Lipa City (UBLC) recognizes 2LT Jon Jefferson Juanta for his distinction as the Alfa Company Brigade Sergeant Major under Officer Candidate Course Class 63 Bumannawag 2025 of the Philippine Army. A proud UBLC BS Criminology alumnus, Class of 2023, 2LT Juanta earned the distinction after demonstrating consistent competence, command presence, and commitment to duty during the rigorous course. As Brigade Sergeant Major of Alfa Company, he was entrusted with maintaining discipline, supervising training standards, and serving as a key link between command and candidates roles critical to the success of the unit.
The Officer Candidate Course is a highly competitive and demanding program designed to develop future commissioned officers of the Philippine Army. Candidates undergo intensive military instruction, leadership development, and character formation, preparing them for the responsibilities of command and national service. 2LT Juanta’s recognition reflects his ability to lead by example and uphold the core values of the Army.
