Raining of gold medals \u2013 The University of Batangas (UB) Grade School students brought pride to the university after winning multiple awards in the Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) 2025 Heat Round \u2013 Philippines held on October 19, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UB produced nine gold medalists, four bronze medalists, and one merit awardee across various grade-level groups in the national round of the international math competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gold medalists include Luis Marcus Baril (Kindergarten \u2013 Star); Queen Elizabeth Tumaliuan (Grade II \u2013 Patience), Yani Cueto (Grade II \u2013 Integrity), and Caiden Drael Villanueva (Grade II \u2013 Integrity) under the Primary 2 Group; Alisha Sofia Panopio (Grade III \u2013 Newton) and Roven Caian De la Roca (Grade III \u2013 Newton) under the Primary 3 Group; Simon James Judiel Gutierrez (Grade IV \u2013 Amorsolo) under the Primary 4 Group; Zhaira Margaret Manalo (Grade V \u2013 Magsaysay) under the Primary 5 Group; and Jedeiah Guen Zaraspe (Grade VI \u2013 Whang-Od) under the Primary 6 Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bronze medalists include Isabella Quilenderino (Grade I \u2013 Gratitude) under the Primary 1 Group; Arabella Vernisse De Gracia (Grade II \u2013 Resilience) under the Primary 2 Group; and Sebastian Russell Gloriane (Grade IV \u2013 Amorsolo) and Harris Quilenderino (Grade IV \u2013 Amorsolo) under the Primary 4 Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zack Andrei Melo (Grade V \u2013 Garcia) received a Merit Award under the Primary 5 Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
