More than a calling – Judge Charito M. Macalintal-Sawali, Class Salutatorian of Batch 2003 of Juris Doctor and the University of Batangas (UB) College of Law Professor, was conferred as a Fellow of the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) on October 8, 2025, at the PPSC Head Office Building, Quezon City.
During the 32nd Anniversary celebration of the PPSC, Judge Macalintal-Sawali was one of the distinguished individuals conferred with Fellow status for their valuable contributions to the institution.
“Your inclusion in this distinguished circle signifies not just recognition but a call to continued service – to share your wisdom, mentor future leaders, and contribute to the intellectual and moral growth of the PPSC community,” the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) stated.
As a newly conferred Fellow, Judge Macalintal-Sawali joins an esteemed advisory body that mentors emerging leaders and provides high-level strategic guidance to the PPSC. The Council of Fellows plays a vital role in shaping academic standards and curriculum for the country’s public safety officers.
