The University of Batangas (UB) Grade School students excelled in the Math and Science Regional Quiz Bee held on October 11, 2025, at the University of Perpetual Help, Molino, Bacoor, Cavite.
In the Math Regional Quiz Bee, Roven Caian V. Dela Roca from Grade 3 – Newton and Janelle Claire E. Felias from Grade 6 – Silang secured 3rd Place and 5th Place, respectively, earning both a spot in the national level.
Meanwhile, in the Science Regional Quiz Bee, Rafael Joseph A. Solis from Grade 3 – Thomson claimed 3rd Place, while Kyle Luigi F. Aloria from Grade 6 – Silang ranked 4th, also qualifying for the national round.
Joining them as national qualifiers are Paul Abraham D. Tarcelo (Grade 4 – Amorsolo), Daphne Michaela M. Despuez (Grade 6 – Whang-Od), and Nigella M. Roldan (Grade 6 – Silang).
The Association of Science and Mathematics Educators of Public and Private Schools (ASMEPPS) organized the academic competition. The UB Grade Schoolers will advance to the 12th ASMEPPS National Battle of Math and Science Champions, which will take place on February 20 and 21, 2026, at Easter College, Guisad, Baguio City.
