The University of Batangas (UB) continued to advance its commitment to academic excellence as three Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Major in Marketing Management (BSBA) students successfully earned their Certified Marketing Management Specialist (CMMS) credential on November 28, 2025.
The certification, administered by the Center for Professional Advancement and Continuing Education, Inc. (CPACE), measured participants’ mastery of strategic marketing concepts, digital market behavior, branding systems, and real-world industry applications. The CMMS program aims to strengthen marketing competencies that align with global industry demands.
UB celebrated the success of Jules Zandleir S. Corpuz, Julianna D. Garcia, and Allyza C. Realon, who represented the College of Business, Accountancy, and Hospitality Management (CBAHM) with professionalism and academic rigor throughout the assessment process. Their achievement demonstrated how UB nurtures globally competitive graduates who respond actively to the evolving needs of the business sector.
This milestone reinforces the university’s ongoing efforts to support United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4: Quality Education, as it consistently builds learning pathways that expand student credentials, enhance industry readiness, and elevate professional standards. It also contributes to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by equipping future professionals with specialized marketing skills that improve employability and strengthen workforce development.
Through collaborative training, continuous upskilling, and strong partnerships with certification bodies like CPACE, the University of Batangas ensures that its students enter the industry prepared, confident, and capable of driving meaningful innovation in the marketing field.
