The University of Batangas (UB) recorded another academic milestone as graduates from its College of Education (CEDU) passed the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers, with results released on November 30, 2025.
UB examinees from the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED), and 18-unit earners successfully met the national standards required for professional teaching practice, reflecting the university’s consistent commitment to quality teacher education.
As first-time takers, four UB BEED program.graduates achieved 100% passing rate in the examination. The passers include Diana Rose P. Abistado, Jaycel D. Cortinas, John Lhan Rey Q. Labay, and Rochelle G. Perez.
20 UB graduates passed under the BSED program. The successful examinees are Cathleen E. Abrigonda, Mervin D. Adobe, Joel T. Alipio, Mary Rose M. Aliling, Jeffrey M. Belarmino, David Carlo Angelito B. Cabral, Lorenzo Erwin M. Conde, Pamela V. Celo, Levi Ed A. Daing, John Paul A. Dayandayan, Ritchie B. Early, Arman M. Gutierrez, Florence Matthew V. Ilao, Ivy Ellen R. Lizardo, Lorenz O. Plamo, Vina Abigail S. Salcedo, Charmaene N. Concepcion, Rosal R. Dimaala, Belen M. Guico, and Rommel B. Pelo.
Three UB examinees also passed as 18-unit earners. The passers include Vivian C. Gonzales, Felly Jane Palason, and Zymon Andrew M. Maquinto.
The College of Education continues to implement outcomes-based instruction, extensive teaching internships, and values-driven training to prepare future educators for the classroom. The successful results align with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by strengthening the supply of qualified teachers and promoting inclusive, equitable, and effective learning environments.
Through these achievements, the University of Batangas reinforces its role in nation-building by producing licensed educators who will contribute to educational development and lifelong learning across communities.
