The University of Batangas (UB) Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BS Crim) alumnus earned recognition as a Regional Topnotcher for his distinct performance in the August 2025 Board Licensure Examination for Criminologists on November 19, 2025.
Jasper Ivan E. Asi, RCrim, achieved this distinction through his exemplary commitment, discipline, and mastery of the criminology core competencies, reflecting the strong academic foundation and rigorous training under the UB BS Criminology program.
The Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PCAP), and the Accredited and Integrated Professional Organization of Criminologists (AIPOC), Region IV Chapter, conferred the Regional Topnotcher Award to Mr. Asi.
This achievement also advances the university’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) as UB continues to strengthen its academic programs, uphold professional excellence, and produce graduates who contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
