The Guild of Aspiring Psychologists (GAPsy) equipped students with strategies for emotional regulation, and stress management in a seminar titled “Emotional Regulation: A Path to Academic Life Balance,” October 28.

GAPsy officers noted that the seminar was conducted to address the need for stress management strategies amid high academic demands.

The seminar provided tools to manage stress and foster well-being by utilizing discussions and interactive activities for students to better understand their emotions. Developing coping mechanisms to enhance psychological resilience was also highlighted during the seminar.

A central feature of the event was the cultivation of a supportive environment intended to encourage open dialogue about mental wellness. This approach aimed to help reduce stigma and normalize conversations about emotional health within the student community.

By empowering students to prioritize their mental well-being alongside academic performance, the seminar contributed to promoting a healthier, more balanced, and well-rounded student community.
