One-step ahead – students from the University of Batangas (UB) achieved a significant academic milestone after earning the Certified Human Resource Associate (CHRA) credential on November 28, 2025, strengthening their professional readiness in the field of human resource management.
Learners from the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (AB Psych), Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BS Psych), and Bachelor of Science in Legal Management (BS LegMa) successfully completed the certification, demonstrating competence in core human resource functions such as recruitment, employee relations, workplace ethics, and organizational development.
From the AB Psychology program, the CHRA passers include Jayezel Anne Atienza, Earl Joseph Bayudang, Shaina Jane Binabay, Nick Saimoun Calingasan, Jossane Kaye Callos, Kristine Angela Cuadra, Trisha Mae Faner, John Paolo Jaen, Gwyneth Lopez, and Kyla Jane Mauhay.
The BS Psychology program produced a strong group of CHRA-certified students, namely Kaye Anne Alday, Ayehza Mariel Andal, Shaira Mae Andal, Marjorie Añonuevo, Clifford Arenas, Niel Joshua Bico, Kimberly Anne Cantera, John Keith Caraan, Karelle Manueli Castor, Ferly Mae Datinguinoo, Gwyneth Mikaela De Castro, Trishia Paula Eleda, Yeshia Enaroba, Joshua Nicole Famadico, Princess Mikki Fermo, Mary Christian Noelle Gilera, Vanelle Thea Guerra, Mary Gwyneth Hernandez, Eriel Hidalgo, Venice Janes Jalos, Nicole Mariano, Marrian Nazarro, Rowena Panganiban, Nicole Sharlotte Pateña, Jhoane Permejo, Geraldine Salazar, Veronica Sotto, Geofferson Rolph Sulit, Iumi Jelkah Tan Pian, and Price Anjell Torcuator.
Completing the roster are the BS Legal Management students Xena Avance, Arianne Suzette Patulay, and Janna Marie Ramos, who also earned the CHRA credential and showcased their readiness to apply legal and human resource principles in professional settings.
The achievement reflects UB’s commitment to equipping students with industry-recognized certifications that enhance employability and career preparedness. By integrating academic learning with professional credentialing, the University continues to develop graduates who meet the evolving demands of the workforce.
