How are you, really? – The Young Communicators’ Guild (YCG) of the University of Batangas (UB) College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) launched the first episode of “COMMusta Ka Ga?,” a program created for UB faculty members, on September 14, 2024.

Ms. Reena Balmes hosted the first episode, which featured interviews with teachers Sir Abvic Ryan Maghirang, Sir Michael Josef Ramos, Ma’am Abella Ricafort, Ma’am Maan Macatangay, and Sir Norvine Quinag. They shared their personal challenges, joys, and motivations as educators.

The program brought the stories of educators closer to the heart of the community. The educators shared a collective sentiment – that despite the demanding workload, their responses radiated positivity and fulfillment, which they drew from seeing their students grow.

This hands-on initiative directly reflected the university’s mission to nurture purpose and broaden perspectives, fulfilling its pursuit of a healthier and more empathetic academic community in line with UN SDGs 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and 4 (Quality Education).

‘COMMusta Ka Ga?’ operated under the creative and compassionate leadership of the Young Communicators’ Guild (YCG).
