The University of Batangas (UB) marked another academic success after its graduates passed the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), with results released on December 18, 2025.

Graduates from the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED), and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) earned their licenses and officially joined the country’s roster of professional teachers.

From the BEED program, Diana Rose P. Abistado, LPT, and Rochelle G. Perez, LPT, successfully passed the examination. The BSED program recorded a passer in Joel T. Alipio, LPT, while Jeffrey Belarmino, LPT, represented the BSIE–ETEEAP program.

UB’s ETEEAP recorded a 100 percent passing rate, emphasizing the effectiveness of the university’s competency-based and experience-driven approach to teacher preparation. The result also highlighted UB’s commitment to providing accessible, high-quality education for working professionals and non-traditional learners.

This achievement supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, which emphasizes inclusive and equitable education and lifelong learning opportunities. It also advances SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by strengthening the professional workforce in the education sector.

Through the continued success of its licensure examinees, the University of Batangas reaffirms its mission to develop competent, licensed educators who contribute meaningfully to national development.
