The University of Batangas (UB) Political Science Circle (PSC) conducted its much-awaited Leadership Development Assembly (LDA) from December 1 to 2, 2022, at MMDC Farm Resort, Barangay Bucal, Batangas City, to enhance leadership skills, strengthen cooperation, and build a deeper sense of organizational identity among its members.

The two-day assembly emphasized the importance of camaraderie, teamwork, and inclusivity as vital components of effective leadership and student governance. Through interactive workshops, discussions, and team-building activities, participants explored how collaboration and communication contribute to achieving shared goals and sustaining organizational success.

The UB PSC underscored that leadership development goes beyond individual growth—it also involves fostering unity and collective purpose within the organization. By participating in activities designed to build connection and trust, members were encouraged to become more proactive, empathetic, and service-driven student leaders.

The event also addressed the sense of isolation some students experience in college, emphasizing how collective initiatives like the LDA promote belonging, engagement, and empowerment within the organization and the wider university community.

Through the Leadership Development Assembly, the University of Batangas Political Science Circle reaffirmed its commitment to cultivating competent, community-oriented leaders who embody collaboration, integrity, and public service in both academic and civic spheres.
